Maddie Yip

Executive Director

Maddie is a Grade 12  student attending Windermere Secondary and is excited to be the Co-Executive Director for EMGirls Vancouver 2026–2027 year. After joining EMGirls as an intern two years ago, then continuing her involvement in EMGirls as Marketing Coordinator last year, she was inspired by the EMGirls’ mission and the opportunities it creates for high school girls. These roles have given her leadership, teamwork and inspired her to take on the role of Co-Executive Director. As Co-Executive Director, she hopes to encourage young women to explore their interests with confidence and make EMGIrls a space where all girls feel supported. Outside of EMGirls, Maddie enjoys running, spending time outdoors, hanging out with friends and painting. She looks forward to working with the executive team and contributing to a community that empowers young women to connect, grow confidence, leadership and explore their passions!
